Network statistics

On Twitter we saw no messages on the Berlin Buzzwords WiFi infrastructure (provided by newthinking communications) except for one Tweet. Worried that this might have been caused by people being unable to connect to the internet we asked our network operation center for help. They provided us with the following statistics that we would like to share with you.

Feedback

Thanks for attending the Berlin Buzzwords main conference tracks. We hope you stay in town for our Workshops and Hackathons starting tomorrow.

Berlin Buzzwords team

Berlin Buzzwords opens its doors next Monday at 8:00am. As you may know, the conference is being organised by Simon Willnauer, Jan Lehnardt, Isabel Drost and newthinking communications. We would like to use this opportunity to publish some pictures and background information on the people behind Berlin Buzzwords - a hug to everyone involved: Without you this event would never be possible.

If you have any questions or problems during the conference, don't hesitate to grab one of the following guys for help.

Apache Hadoop Hackathon

On 9th June, 2011 will be a Hadoop Hackathon at Nokia. There is still
place 9 attendees. The plan is to have Hadoop PMC, committers and users in a room talking about Apache Hadoop topics. This is your chance to get in touch with the people who have written the system, learn more on future plans and get your hands dirty hacking on Hadoop itself.
Please check https://2011.berlinbuzzwords.de/wiki/hadoop-hackathon and send a
mail to o.b.fischer@swe-blog.net to register.
