Berlin Buzzwords in the press

Berlin Buzzwords is a conference on scalable search, data processing and NoSQL databases. It is co-organised by newthinking communications, Jan Lehnardt, Simon Willnauer and Isabel Drost.

Meetups and user groups

To shorten the time until Berlin Buzzwords starts, we have collected a list of local meetups and user groups that concentrate on topics related to scaling data storage, analysis and search.

Call for Presentations open

This is to announce the opening of the Berlin Buzzwords 2010 call for presentations. Berlin Buzzwords is the first conference on scalable and open search, data processing and data storage in Germany, taking place in Berlin.

The event will comprise presentations on scalable data processing. We invite you to submit talks on the topics:

Why "Buzzwords"?

The question that most often reaches us is for the reason for the name of Berlin Buzzwords. Well, when creating the first sketches of the conferences we quickly noticed that just by naming projects and topics of interest we were tossing around a good amount of buzzwords that are currently hot when talking about highly scalable systems. Joking around, the name Berlin Buzzwords appeared.
