The Conference


Do you have any special last minute information? - We have a separate sheet containing information on opening hours, ticketing and accreditation online at accreditation information.

Where does Berlin Buzzwords take place? - Berlin Buzzwords 2011 takes place at Urania Berlin. More detailed information on our venue page.


When does Berlin Buzzwords take place? - Berlin Buzzwords takes place on Monday June 06th, and Tuesday June 07th.


When do speaker notifications get sent out? - We are currently rating, ranking proposals and squeezing the schedule to fit all the interesting stuff we received in there. We are planning to send out notifications soon - please stay tuned.


Will the talks be held in English? - Yes, all presentations will be given in English. Registration desk, catering area and technical people helping speakers also speak English.

What Twitter/Blog/Flickr tag should I use? - Please use #bbuzz - we've shortened it a bit compared to last year, please don't include numbers.

Registration


Is there a group discount? - Yes, for groups of 5 or more there is a 25% discount off the regular ticket price. For group orders, please contact Julia Gemählich (jge@newthinking.de).


What is the last possible group order date for Berlin Buzzwords? - The group registration deadline is May 09th.


What do I need to keep in mind for the accreditation process? - Please do not forget to bring your printed ticket to the conference. The accreditation is working with a scanner system that will not be able to scan the bar-code from a smartphone.


Can I bring my family? - Absolutely - we would love to make Berlin Buzzwords as community and family friendly as possible. Please let us know on our special "alternative track" and "young track" surveys what your preferences and wishes are.

Supporting the conference


Is it possible to get involved as a sponsor? - Yes, absolutely. Please contact either Isabel Drost or Clemens Lerche for more details and a sponsor information package.


We are only a small Berlin startup - is there an option to get involved apart from sponoring? - Sure. We are planning to offer workshops after the conference that shall be located in local offices provided by local companies and universities. That's a great opportunity to raise visibility of your startup without having to spend large amounts of money. Please get in touch with Isabel Drost for more information.


Do you need any helping hands? - Any help with spreading the word on the conference is greatly appreciated. If you know Berlin, please also consider volunteering as a guide for our famous first conference day bar tours: Book a table at your favourite bar or restaurant for the evening of the first conference day and take up to 15 attendees out for an awesome evening in your favourite district.
